Harun Wahab graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the University of Westminster in London, United Kingdom and works as an IT Manager in a local power utility. Born in Selangor, Malaysia in 1965, he had enjoyed photography since his early teens and had dabbled in black & white film development and printing using his home darkroom equipment.

However, it was only since the advent of digital cameras that his passion and exploration in photography grew. His familiarity with computers helped him to transit into the world of digital easily and he looks forward into what the future can bring for photography.

His favourite subjects are familiar surroundings, places he visits and people he meets. He tries to capture the essence of a scene, hoping it makes you feel as if you are there.

His current equipment includes the Nikon Zf, D750 and Fujifilm X100V and X100. His lens collection contains the Nikkor Z 24-70mm f4, 14-30mm f4 and Tamron Z 150-500mm f5-6.7, and F-mount Nikkor 20mm f1.8, 50mm f1.8, 85mm f1.8, 24-70mm f2.8, 10.5mm fisheye, Sigma 150-500mm f5-6.3, 150mm f2.8 macro, 30mm f1.4 and Samyang 14mm f2.8, 85mm f1.4.

He also owned the Canon AE-1, Canon T70, Minolta 7xi, Sony DSC-P1, Nikon Coolpix 5700, Lumix FX55, Lumix FZ30, Nikon D200 with Nikkor 18-200mm VR, Fuji HS10, Nikon D700, Sony RX100, Sigma DP2.
